Yahoo! We 16 met up yesterday in Bolzano after various flights and trains.
Dramatis personae included:

Jen (Bung knee), Josie (Bung archilles), Ali and Polly
Jason, Marie, Megan, Celine.
The first day was a stunner! Warm (hot 26C) with few clouds.
We went up the funicular above Ortisei to get a headstart on the first hill.
After photos we split into two groups for the day. Bruno led me, Mark, Neil and William for a few 'Bruno Bonus' tours while the others traveled with Simon.
Lunch (apple strudel) was at a lovely refuge.
After lunch we caned down some more hills and Mark fell over twice to officially win the biggest dck prize for the day. But at least his knee mostly held out.
I was loving every moment, although I was getting a bit fatigued by the end. The net downhill meant an awful lot of fast stepping and high concentration levels! My white hoka tecton x2 were great although my heels started to feel sore. My slight sure throat disappeared in the clean mountain air 😀
There were a few epic scree slopes to traverse... carefully!
Eventually we descended down back to Ortisei for some stretching, an ice cream and a shower. Pretty hard work for the supposed easy day, lol!
