Tamaki River Half Marathon 2023

Race Day
The weather was fantastic and very still. Good conditions for setting PBs, which was promptly achieved by none of us. (Well, Barnaby got a new Strava PB, due to the previous race being measured short)
I took Will's entry since he was injured.
I ran it at a sensible, hard training speed. The course is essentially flat, with only a few minor lumps along it.
Neville and Barnaby ran fast and Nev managed to run into a post with his arm while rounding a corner. Ouchy! (Stitches were discussed but not eventually required)
Barnaby did 1:28:53, and beat the first woman home !
Nev was 1 minute back, and then me another 5 minutes later.
Good fun.
