We ran along the river side.
This morning we were all rather apprehensive.... The weather forecast was for heavy rain coming through at midday. So we made a quick breakfast and started ou from Les Chapieux as early as possible to hopefully beat the weather.
It was drizzling for a few hours as we climbed up out of the valley.
Due to the cold wet forecast and the need to not pause very long at rest stops, we split immediately into 2 groups with no intention of meeting up midway.
I didn't take many photos here due to the risk of drowning my phone... Eventually I'll install great photos from our guide Simon who was GoPro-ing...
Here is my roommate Dave as we finished the 1000m climb up to the Col de la Seigne.
The weather was chilly up high and light rain was falling.
We met a few cows with bells!
We then had a descent before we climbed back up again. The rain mostly stopped and never started again. Yay!
